The traffic here is not as disciplined as you might find it in most places in Europe. Seatbelts are hardly availlable and cars drive towards pedestrians without any attempt of slowing down. Traffic Lights are not respected by everyone. Many streets are good and that makes cars drive even faster. A big danger is the unpredictability of other drivers. In my lunchbreak I observed the following bus which crashed into the hedge on the side of the road:
The really interesting thing about this crash is: how did the bus get there? Its a street with three lanes and he drove into the wrong direction (note the arrow on the street)? here another closeup:
